“I have ridden Zero scooters and EUCs but this has the power and the sturdy build that is perfect for a larger rider and can still fold up and fit in the car.”
“The best scooter in its price range. I've been through a lot of scooters and this is the winner. It goes faster and farther than advertised. Easy tire changes and built from the best materials. You will NOT regret this purchase!”
“After buying (and returning or selling) 5 high speed adult scooters, I found my one true love. The Mantis GT! I was hesitant to buy because I like to stick with Amazon for their return policy, but fluidfree's reputation made me feel safe. After 600mi, I have zero regrets. I had one small question and they replied immediately. The Mantis GT itself is like riding a Cadillac mixed with a Porsche. It's adjustable suspension is awesome. It's acceleration is the best in its price range. I know it says 43MPH is top, but I (being 6'4"&220lbs) have gotten up to 48.2MPH. It's great for city commuting at reasonable speeds, or like my commute, doing 40+MPH in the bike lane. I make my 4.8mi trip to work in 8min. To be honest, it's the best part of my workday and I almost wished that I live further from work! If you want acceleration, a QUALITY build, a great top speed, and a reasonable range, then this scooter is for you. Don't hesitate and you won't be sorry. Also, buy a motorcycle helmet (and a "dash cam" for it) and gloves immediately. A 40+MPH impact with a car or curb could be deadly. I know it's a lot of money, but buy it, and be safe out there!”
“I just got the mantis pro GT is the best Price value you get Worth every penny Love my scooter just one problem the brakes when you press on them when you’re going slow or not even driving it and you lose the wheels it bumpy makes a noise other than that good scooter, best price range, and ergonomics best scooter you could buy for under $3000 worth every penny”

“First I love the scooter it rides wonderfully and pulls my 240lbs extremely well. The only cons I have was the brake fluid for the rear brake leaks at the caliper. But even with just the front brake it stops well. I will also add they say max speed is 43 but I have easily hit 48 which I stopped accelerating at that point I'm sure it will hit 50. Overall it's a wonderful bike. That needs to be checked better before being shipped out to make sure it functions properly”
“I had another brand of scooter before this one... night and day difference in the quality of build and parts. Do not hesitate to buy this. Best purchase I've made in the last decade so far. Great for commuting to work.
If you are taller than 5'10" you may want to go with a different kaabo that has higher handle bars.”

Work, errands, and fun.
“This is my 2nd 1, I had the 1st model that is used on YouTube videos with the wobble at higher speeds. However, with the upgrades there's no more wobble, so I can go to higher speeds with confidence. I'm truly happy for the upgrades because I tried many others at the Fluid store in Brooklyn and nothing gives more control/handling than a Mantis, even the Fluid version.”
“There's a lot to like about this Mantis and I agree with the other reviews/reviewers online and on here, but like any scoot there is room for improvement, especially at this price. The thumb throttle, although a big improvement over the finger style on previous iterations of the Mantis line, needs to be tighter to the handlebar for ergonomic reasons and there is a dead zone -- the grips could also be better -- no palm rests for longer rides. The folding mech design is truly awful with that weird safety catch design -- a small silver knob that you need to twist to release or secure the lever/stem -- make a mistake and you will bend the little screws inside as easily if you were bending a zip tie. I also think a scoot of this quality should come with self-healing tires out of the box and it could be more water resistant too. It's also a little heavy at 74 pounds but that's the trade off when you consider it's performance characteristics which are outstanding. It also looks great and distinctive, but that's subjective. On a final note more important note, Fluidfreeride gets FIVE STARS (have posted elsewhere online) from me on the service front (the leader in this area in my opinion) and I hope that they will be extending their inventory to include more in the way of dual 500 watt motor scooters like the Apollo City Pro, the Mantis Lite 10 etc, because I think they are right in the sweet spot for most riders.. thanks again Fluidfreeride for being there for me when I needed you.”
