Hi Ansgar - We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your purchase. I went back to check our communication and saw that you ordered the street version of the Wolf GT, but wanted off road tires. Unfortunately, we did not have the off-road version in stock at the time, but sent off road tires included in the scooter package. If you need help with the installation or have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help! BR
“I've had the scooter since the end of November 2021 and I've just logged my first 100 miles. Most of my riding has been on trails, dirt roads, and open field. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the scooter and would buy it again. The one caution I have about recommending this scooter is SIZE! It's really too large to put in most small vehicles. I will definitely keep this scooter but plan to buy a Mantis Pro for rides around the city since I'm only loading this one up for the trails.
Battery: Excellent, about 25% of my driving is on hills and I still get 30+ miles per charge with a riding weight of just over 200 pounds and I charge the battery when it has around 10% remaining.
Power: Excellent, there's more power then I need. Because I'm not riding on pavement I never really find I need more power than 2nd gear. It climbs hills very easily in dual motor mode, single motor mode struggles.
Build Quality: Good, there have been a few issues with the unit out of the box.
(1) The first issue was the rear fender, from the factory a bolt was tightened through the plastic. FluidFreeRide replaced the fender right away without any trouble.
(2) A bolt was missing that holds the computer screen, I grabbed one from the hardware store for a $1. After 100 miles I checked all of the bolts again, a few were a little loose
(3) The brakes rubbed out of the box, I thought they'd break in but they're still rubbing so I plan to adjust them tonight.
(4) Around the 60 mile mark I noticed the rear brake got really soft and I need to put in a support ticket for a Hydraulic fluid kit.
(5) The hex bolts are developing light rust, I plan to sand the rust off and apply a little paint to protect them and keep it looking sharp.
(6) Rear suspension is a little soft and I basically bottom it out.
(7) The kickstand has taken skin on multiple occasions. Even though I try to be mindful of that it's just sticking so far out that I continue to have issues with it.
None of the issues above are significant problems and it looks like it'll hold up for a very long time.”
“This scooter is the most solidly built one I've used to date. Once you adjust the folding mechanism there is 0 wobble or stem flex. The scooter accelerates stupid fast, and you'll get wheel spin. I am not personally a fan of the low handlebars, being 6'0", but I can adjust that with a riser. Suspension is stiff but that might loosen up, but even that contributes to the solid feeling. I own a Nami which doesn't even feel as well built as this. Headlights are super bright (one arrived no functioning fully but they're sending a a replacement). Despite being the heaviest scooter out there it's quite maneuverable (more than Nami), and sine wave controllers allow you to baby it especially on single motor. Cables can get in the way when turning but you can move them with the Velcro straps. The scooter took nearly two weeks to arrive but when it did, it was in one piece. I do wish the display remembered the settings every time you turn it on, and that it would load the screen faster. But the screen itself is very advanced and nice to have. These are very early impressions but so far I'm impressed.”
“Straight Out/of Box. Love to go fast. So,,I read through manuals. Cause I'm also a Speed Reader. Secured handle bar, unfolded, secured the stem, [front end].And from my Kribb, 4 blocks down and back and was plesantly surprised to plesantly pleased in all of about 20 seconds. And I apolegize. I do know better. I raced H/P Karts for years even after it almost killed me. That being said. You say you can't afford [PPE]? Don't really need it? Don't B/A Fool. It's too uncomfortable to wear.. DON'T BE A FOOL !!,.. These are serious machines. Go fast and wear your Personal Protective Equipment.
P.S.
Please relocate the charging ports. TY”
