“I recently joined 7 day rocky mountain adventure tour. I could see a lot of beautiful scenery--green-colored lakes, mountain ranges, water falls, glaciers etc. Though there were some places where we could not get a clear view because of smoke from forest fire, those were still beautiful..I had a lot of fun with camping experience as well. Especially I enjoyed every meals cooked by Elisha, our awesome tour guide. I did not expect I could have such a wide variety of cuisines at outdoor, Greek, Mexican, Italian, Canadian etc.. She is a laid-back girl, quite knowledgeable how to enjoy nature/outdoor activities and very hardworking from early morning until late night for the entire tour. Also, it was also good fun for me to get along with other participants of the group. Getting to know them by chatting during drive, hikes, and cooking was a part of the highlights of the tour.”
“What a fabulous week! I had never done group travel before--and what a way to start! Elisha was a fabulous guide, chef, leader, and driver--and from dawn until well beyond nightfall she was there to support our experience. The sites were incredible--despite some smoke from forest fires a province away--and the food was delicious! Elisha was sure to respond to all of my food needs---and made sure that everyone was happy--including vegetarians, non-dairy eaters, etc. The group assembled was a variety of great people from around the globe and somehow we all managed to bond as a group and support one another. Having never put up my own tent before, the rest of the group was fabulous, helpful, and there was a spirit and positive energy that just made for an exceptionally fun time--while feeling safe and secure throughout. Definitely recommend bringing layers (but I always run cold) and having a good pair of hiking boots for some of the more scramble-like terrains--but this is a doable trip--even for someone who hadn't traveled quite like this before! “The entire 8 day/ 7 night camping adventure was amazing! You eat good food with every meal. There was never a shortage of things to do, and all the activities we're a lot of fun! I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a good get away! Sightseeing was fun too! We saw a lot of Eagles, a grey wale, and a bear. I took the Victoria Clipper back to Seattle and we saw a Humpback Wale. Great trip!”

“I just came back from my summer vacation. Went camping/hiking through the Canadian Rockies with Fresh Adventures. Best decision I ever made! Loved hiking up the mountains to experience picture perfect views and to push your limits at times. Alex always had a funny or interesting story to tell and made sure everybody had a good time. He created a great atmosphere so that we all quickly grew together as a team. Also very good camping equipment - although it was quite chilly at night I was never cold in my rented sleeping bag. And OMG the food was insanely good- I thought it would be like canned beans for one week but instead we had freshly grilled fish or cheese fondue on top of a mountain. (Just to give you an idea.) The whole trip definitely exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with. I was really sad, when it ended. I'm gonna miss you guys! Alex, thanks again for an awesome vacation!!!”

The trip was perfect for all age groups - we had our teenage/young adult children with us and we all had a great time. Alex made the whole planning process really easy, with lots of help and useful tips, including advice for the rest of our holidays elsewhere in Vancouver and Vancouver Island. The actual tour more than lived up to our expectations - a great guide, a really fun group of people, and the best camp food we've ever had. The trip was pretty active for our group - Alex took a lot of care to match the activities to the capabilities of each group member. The scenery was amazing, especially on the guided hikes across snowy terrain and up to look at the glaciers, something we probably wouldn't have done on our own.
