“I just completed the 5 day Vancouver Island Adventure trip of which I had high expectations of given the great reviews Fresh Adventures has received and I wasn't disappointed. I am not one for package tours yet I loved this trip and wouldn't hesitate to book another through Fresh Adventures as it didn't feel like an 'organised' trip, it felt like I was exploring a stunning place with longtime friends. The group is the perfect size, 12, small enough to get to know people and large enough to not get 'bored'. As for the adventure, well, every day brought with it a new delight. The wildlife is prolific, the Barkley Sound cruise, the Hot Springs Cove absolute highlights. The equipment is top quality and each campsite exquisite in its own way. Our guide Alex has all the qualities you would expect of a top of the range guide and what a bonus that he's such a great guy, I clicked with him instantly. It impressed me that Alex kept a careful eye on everyone and quietly stepped in when needed without being asked to lend assistance. I'm looking forward to the next Fresh Adventures trip!”

“I usually don't like organized trip, and I often complain about the organization and the long time wasted waiting for people. Fresh adventures tours are completely different than the classic full buses packed with people. They are perfectly organized, our guide, Alex, with his van he brought us in wonderful places that we would never see otherwise, giving a lot of information about what was surrounding us, always being funny and interactive with the group. The camping equipment (provided) was really good and the food was fresh and various, mostly prepared at the moment. The groups aren't very big, maximum 12 people, just the right number to be able to bond and create a team. This trip has been one of the best experiences I ever had, if you look for a real adventure full immersion in nature, for sure this is the right company!”
“I had never camped in my life so decided to purchase the 8 day tour of the Vancouver island with an experienced guide to see whether I liked it. I had the best time: we hiked a lot, saw a lot of wildlife, learned how to set up tents. It was a great mix of scenery: woods, beaches, towns, guided tours. I was constantly impressed with Alex's patience and cooking skills (grilled salmon, fondue, apple crisp, cheesecake to name just a few!). He gently pushed everyone to step outside their limits and gave us lessons any time we wanted them. He taught us about wild berries and tree species. For me it was a very memorable experience.
