It could be that somehow a jar that was too watery slipped by our quality control. We would love to send you a replacement jar if that's the case! I do want to emphasize that the Fresh Red is a nice puree, but not usually deemed "watery" so please reach out to us!

“I have a sensitivity to acidic foods like tomatoes, but I love tomato sauce. It upsets my system and then I found Fresh Chile Company. I use their red chile sauce like tomato sauce. It has no acid and acts like tomato in my cooking. I am adicted.”
