“I've gotten decent at installing these. Bought 6 but added a window so I bought one more. The storms here in Northern CA have been impressive and the awnings have held up admirably after a couple of years. Not fading or breaking. Much better looking than aluminum and undoubtedly more durable than wood, I recommend them. Note: use caulking with every screw and be certain to caulk under the flashing above the shade. Makes your worry about leaks go away. I have an extension driver for the last screw that holds the canvas in place. That helps Good product. I am keen to see how the elastic band with the metal grommet holds up over more time. So far so great! CJ”
