“It took me two years to finally get my hands on a River and couldn't be more obsessed! I also got caught with a sudden beach downpour and it kept my hair and face completely dry - rain just rolled right off and it is still good as new!
I personally don’t think it runs small, I am usually in a 57 with a tight band on felt hats - I sized up due to other reviewers’ recommendations and got a 57 but it’s pretty loose on me. I probably would have gotten away fine with a 55! But with the chin strap and sizing foam, all is well!”
