Looked very glamorous and recieved lots of compliments..even random people off the street. It has a stretch which made it much easier to move around and hit the dance floor! “I had originally planned to wear this dress for my recent elopement ceremony. After reading the reviews with a lot of people saying they had to size down I decided to do the advanced try on. So glad I did! I’m a standard size 12 so ordered the 10 and 12 to try. The 10 fit bit was really quite snug and the zip was a little tight to get done up. It was also SUPER short on me (172cm tall) even bare foot. I would say that the sizing is true to size as the 12 was a perfect fit and easy enough to get done up. The length was much better on this but I found it was still a bit short on me once I put shoes on with it. I even tried low 1-2 inch heels and it still didn’t look quite right. So keep this in mind if you are an average to tall height person. I held the dresses up next to each other to check the length and there is quite a difference between the 10 and 12. The dress itself is stunning on though! The cap sleeve and neck line are very flattering and I loved the cowl back, which wasn’t too low and still able to wear an ordinary strapless bra pulled down a bit. I recommend shapewear under this as it is figure hugging but still very flattering. In the end I actually wore the backup dress I ordered but I would definitely consider this dress for a future formal event.”
