YOKU Natural Soap Bar - Citrus & Rosemary Reviews

I have noticed a big difference since using this rather than shower gel on my skin. Skin feels healthier and I don’t feel that sort of film deposit er gel leaves on your skin. Apart from that the shower screen is much easier to clean now too! Beautiful smelling soap. Won’t go back now.

Smells DIVINE! I love that this soap is natural ingredients & is handmade - if you are trying to make small eco changes this is a good choice. Great gift for a friend or to add to a hamper gift with eco/natural products. Zero plastic waste makes this a must have for any person contentious enough to be concerned about their carbon footprint! and UK made so reduced import cost. Packaging also recyclable! GREEN GREEN & GREEN :) Doesn't lather up as much as ordinary soap but this is a good indicator of its natural product content & it does create more of a cream texture when water is added which feels lovely on the skin. This soap unlike others will last for AGES I use it every time I shower & its barely diminished in size so as far as cost effective its a win! All in all for the price this is a cheap way to be more eco friendly & green with the added bonus of natural healthy skin care!

This is a lovely bar of handmade soap, beautifully scented and simply but effectively presented in a plain but elegant cardboard box, well-suited to the soap. It's very reasonably priced for a bar of handmade soap and would make a lovely and fairly inexpensive present for the soap-lover in your life and/or a Secret Santa or similar. It's a low-lather soap, but is very gentle on my uber-sensitive skin. Recommended.

Lovely smelling and lasting well. I actually cut mine into 3 as i didn't want the kids getting their hands on it and using it up all in quick time haha. Would recommend if a little pricey but so far is lasting well.

Very pleasant hand made soap with a great smell. The patchouli scent reminded of a certain era and memories of a girl I knew who used to smother herself in it. This is in no way as overpowering. Just a subtle hint with a touch of lavender too. Lathers very nicely and looks quite classy too. Would make a great gift.

This is quite a large bar of soap and it arrives nicely packaged in paper and card. The scent is fairly subtle – not overpowering. It doesn’t produce much lather at first but does with just a little use. The soap feels nice and doesn’t dry out your skin.

Handmade in Bristol, this is a very natural soap with shea butter and coconut. Cold pressed, vegan, chemical and palm oil free and free from plastics even in its recyclable packaging, in Lavender and Cedarwood this is suitable for even sensitive skin. It smells wonderful. I have to say I've always loved aa good tablet of soap. In the midst of a debt crisis some years ago I always managed to buy a triple milled soap from the local chemist's shop, no matter what. It made me feel things weren't quite so bad. And soap is pretty long lasting. In my opinion this is well worth the £5.95 asking price at time of writing. Quite modestly priced, in these economically trying times this soap might just make you feel good. Which is great.

I applaud this attempt to get people to return to soap instead of expensive liquid cleaners with their wasteful dispensers. The problem with the old type of soap is it dried out the skin. This one doesn't. It's more expensive than old fashioned soap bars but a vastly superior product. Be aware, the scent, while pleasant, is very mild. (This is a good thing in my view as heavily scented soaps are usually sickly sweet). It doesn't lather much either, and I suspect that's got something to do with its gentleness.
