“I found the advice around under preforming and appraisals was very old fashioned and trauma and anxiety inducing for the employee and manager. You can be firm and fair without being intimidating and dominating. Very opposite to the trusting and collaborating ethos that has been emphasised prior in the training. It seems like a punitive measure not a collaborative one. I found this to lack being trauma informed in its approach.”
