Very good course, eye opening as to what potentially happens in the work place, and now a i have a good understanding how to deal with it should the worst happen

Content very good. For me, it would be improved by having some of the slides presented with a video of a presenter visible rather than every one of them being read out line by line by an invisible narrator.

Overall, this is a clear and accessible course that provides a good foundation on what constitutes sexual harassment, dispels common myths, and reinforces that impact matters more than intent. The content broadly aligns with the Equality Act 2010, and the use of short scenarios and external references (e.g. ACAS/TUC) is helpful. For a manager/supervisor audience, the course would benefit from more practical guidance on legal responsibilities and real-world application, particularly in relation to the Worker Protection Act 2023. Clearer direction on what “reasonable steps” look like in practice, how managers should respond when concerns are raised, and how investigations should be handled would add value. More nuanced, manager-level scenarios (including site-based or technical environments) would also strengthen the course. Overall, a solid awareness-level module, but it could be enhanced with more manager-specific, actionable content.

Hello Wayne, thank you for taking the time to provide such insightful feedback on the course. I’m pleased to hear that the core foundations, specifically the focus on impact over intent and the alignment with the Equality Act 2010 are resonating well and providing a clear baseline for learners. Your points regarding the manager/supervisor experience are particularly well-taken. To ensure the training is truly effective for leadership, we recognise the need to move beyond "what it is" and into "how to manage it." Specifically, I've noted the following areas for potential enhancement: The Worker Protection Act 2023: Deepening the focus on the proactive "preventative duty" and providing concrete examples of what constitutes "reasonable steps" (e.g., risk assessments and culture monitoring). Operational Guidance: Adding clear protocols for responding to initial disclosures and the high-level "do’s and don’ts" of handling internal investigations. Environmental Nuance: Developing scenarios that reflect the realities of site-based, technical, or non-office environments where traditional boundaries may feel more blurred. Practical Application: Shifting the focus for managers from "awareness" to "accountability and action." We want to ensure managers feel empowered, rather than just informed. We will review these suggestions as we look toward the next iteration of the module to bridge the gap between foundational knowledge and practical leadership. Thank you again and we wish you all the best in the future. Kind regards, Stephen (Customer Support, High Speed Training).
