“I think for staff new to the profession would find this course useful. However, it's advertised as a course that covers 'extreme' behaviour and SEND. 'Extreme' is obviously subjective, but to lots of staff working in SEND provisions experience a lot more challenging behaviour than is covered in this course, meaning it was a bit of a waste of time, and we will have to find another course that actually covers 'extreme' behaviours.”

“While this training was informative and extensive in its explanations, I did not feel this was reflective of extreme behaviours. It is likely just that in my experience, extreme behaviours are a little more extreme than indicated in this course. It would be great if this course was more inclusive of SEND and extreme behaviours that come with SEND. This training would be good for mainstream primary and secondary schools who need guidance with preparing for and preventing extreme behaviours. It also includes some of the psychology behind the cause and effect of behaviours and challenging behaviour which is helpful for those who don't know.”
