Some things here are hard to hear but it is a necessity in the world we now live in. I recommend this course to any who want to refresh their knowledge or are involved in sports activities with under 18s.

Hi there I found this safeguarding training to be of excellent quality and very engaging. A suggestion I would recommend would be further development around the motivations to sexual abuse and how/why it happens. I felt the training suggested adults will /may 'target' particular clubs or environments to access and abuse children (which they may do) but we know the majority of adults who sexually harm are people children know and trust, more importantly, their motivation to sexually abuse is more often than not, not about sexual attraction to children. The NCA suggests 1 in 35 men pose a sexual risk of harm to children and therefore in terms of prevention, if we think about any adult posing a sexual risk of harm, even thoughs we already know and trust and not newcomers joining a club etc we may better protect and keep children safer. To move away from 'stranger danger' particlarly when 90% of CSA happens by someone children know and trust and adults can sexually harm at any point in their lifespan. That said, I felt it was a really excellent starter training course.
