“Excellent Course. Very logically laid out in plain English. The video case studies were particularly impactful, being both poignant and inspiring in equal measure. The videos really helped place the subject matter into a real world context. I especially appreciated the repeated messaging throughout the tutorial modules, that volunteers are valued, and should not be scared of stepping up and getting involved in supporting young people to learn and excel. But the right knowledge and understanding of what is, and is not, good safeguarding practice; and what the different forms of abuse and their related signs are, can protect both the volunteers and the young people they coach. In this way, a good safeguarding culture can help organisations working with young people to flourish.”
