“This is a brilliant course and I am thankful that you took the time to create it and put it out into the world. I personally come from a background of trauma and abuse (my eldest brother was abused as a child and ended up committing murder and serving life in prison, and I was abused physically, emotionally, mentally and sexually by my other brother who was also older than me). After years of suffering in silence about both of these things and sabotaging myself over and over as a result, I eventually found fitness (boxing at the time) at age 21 and it changed my entire life. I made a transformation of myself instead turning pain into purpose rather than living a life of transmitting the pain. I understand the value of what this course is. I can see the impact this is making on the individuals that take the course, like myself, as it’s a reminder to really make sure everything in our power is done to protect children from having to live in silence (or having to break it like we did!) but also the ripple effect of how they then operate their clubs, and organisations, now and in the future. Setting a new standard. Changing the culture around abuse that everyone knows happens; but never wants to talk about or do anything about. Thank you. Matt H.”

“This is an excellent course, not just in content, but it also allows you to control the pace, revisit earlier slides, modules, etc. The content is in depth, but not too deep. It is hard to fault. It's a must for anyone involved in working with children, whether sport orientated or not. All the advice is totally transferrable, not just to other activities, but also to vulnerable adults.”
