“This course is a brilliant introduction to Safeguarding and policies needed for my organisation. It was accessible, clear, multi layered with stories and examples as well as the facts needed and even the documentation needed on how to set all of the policies up successfully. My group is not directly sports related, however I am a volunteer, running a family wellbeing and educational program (CIC) that does involve and include sports, fitness and outdoor activities. This course has refreshed my knowledge of safeguarding and brought it to the forefront of my mind going forward as I grow and develop the project and accessing funding to further enhance the CIC’s aims for my wonderful community. Thank you so much to the people who have put this course together, and to the brave souls who have shared their stories about their negative experiences in order to help companies really deepen their understanding of safeguarding within companies like mine.
