“I have done a fair few safeguarding courses that were really dry and bland but the different formats used in this course were really helpful in keeping the information engaging and the "lived experiences" of people really brought the issue to life”

“This is an excellent online training module for Safeguarding Children that can be studied in short bites if needed. In fact it would be beneficial to co-study with a colleague, pause, discuss and then move on. The inclusion of prominent sports people - both endorsing the training and also having the courage to share their own experiences of abuse made this feel even more authentic, and helps to remove the stigma and reinforce the importance of reporting concerns. Big respect to Paul Stewart for leading this important initiative. I took this course as a volunteer coach, but I’m also a parent carer of a very vulnerable non verbal autistic young lad with learning disabilities, and it gave me some important safeguarding principles to check before I leave him with any Short Breaks leisure provider. Thank you all who were involved in producing this module.”
