“I was born in The Gambia and lived there for the first 25 years of my life and latterly regularly travelled through Mali to Timbuktu- two dishes intrigued me Jollof rice and the Tagine because that is what was served up on a regular basis and they were staples
I was not disappointed - both were better than I remembered them , and you could only imagine the settings sitting in London , however was grateful that I was not sitting in a sandstorm!!
I have to say well worth the experience and soon to be tried again”
