“After months of frustration with my hose constantly disconnecting from the tap fitting, I'm absolutely LOVING this tap to hose connector. I can now water my garden without having to traipse back and forth to the tap to keep reconnecting the hose. This is a great design and I absolutely recommend it.”
“There was only one thing that seemed wrong with the Hoselink Tap to Hose connector, and I cannot think of a way to fix it. IN reality it probably cannot be fixed, nor is it a problem. It just 'looks and feels' wrong.Where the hose exits the nut, there is a little too much gap. That means whenever the hose is moved side to side, it 'looks and feels' as if it might let go.Now, I know the nylon collar that grips the end of the hose and is clamped down by the nut, is the most secure fitting of that type I have ever seen, and that it is very unlikely to ever let go. I also know that the play at that spot is because my hose is thinner wall that some other brands - something I will probably remedy later when I next replace hose, by purchasing my next hose from Hoselink. For now, because this is a long hose, and is not very old, I will live with it.We live in the tropics, and for the last week, this hose has been subject to ambient shade temperature (at the tap end) of more than 30 degrees (the temp of water flowing out of the tap).Where the hose was blowing off the various plastic and even brass connectors, the Hoselink has held fast.As I can afford to, I will begin replacing my other fittings, and then the hose itself. If i can find a place to attach the thing, I am thinking of buying a Hose Link Hose reel.”
