“I purchased a Retractable 30m Hoselink Reel Set just over 1 month ago. I set it up okay but when I switched it on there was a water leak near the tap. I undid and re-attached the connectors at the tap a few times and couldn’t understand why it leaked. I then rang Hoselink, and immediately they sent me a replacement Tap to Hose Connector Set. This worked great. Upon closer examination of the initial tap connector received with the 30m Hoselink Reel Set, I saw it was missing a black rubber washer.”

Hi Gary,Thanks for leaving a review and for also providing a video. That definitely shouldn't be happening. It does look from the video that the white split ring may not have been used which is what clamps the connection to the hose. “I have this hose on at a low pressure at all times. With the previous connectors there would always be a little dribble of water and wet patch on the concrete where the hose sits, since changing to this connector, no water at all! Very Happy!”
