“Although my review is about the flow control connector, my criticism could apply to all Hoselink hose connectors. I've had Hoselink products (hoses, connectors, timers, sprinklers, hose reels, spray guns, nozzles, wands, gardening tools and now solar lights) over the past ten years and by far the biggest problem I have had is with leaking connections and poor quality of the flow control connector. Both problems I believe comes from poor quality control. Often connecting a new connector to and old fitting results in a leak. Changing O rings sometimes fixes the problem but sometimes the gap between the two fittings is just too big and a new fitting is needed. Sure this is simple but it is annoying.The problem with the flow control connector is that I have had a couple which don't fully open and of course this restricts water flow. Maybe not a problem in places with good water pressure but my pressure in Southern NSW on the Murray is pathetic and we need all the flow we can get.So in short, good products based on a first rate idea but the execution sometimes leaves a little to be desired.”
“Actually, it is still in its bag. I didn't realise that the flow control was included in the 25m High flow unit that I bought. So it's superfluous at the moment. The one on the hose seems to work OK.BTW, the form which opened from the email is far too big! I have to scroll to get from one side to the other.”
“I didn't see the point in it until I used the one you supplied with the retractable hose. I can now control a sprayer or sprinkler at a distance or out of sight of the tap. BIG improvement. So I bought another one to use elsewhere.”
