“I have been using hoselink products (hose reel, connectors, hoses) for more than 6 years and been happy about it. I ordered this flow control connector with a hose-on fertiliser so that I can stop the flow without having to walk back to the tap. Im very disappointed to find out that it's leaking around the base. I checked the connection, make sure the nuts were tight but was still leaking. Told the customer service and they sent a replacement. It's the same product so it's also leaking. It's been two weeks now and customer service has not responded to my enquiries.”

“Have had this product in the past and it is a great way of controlling water flow especially when changing different attachments to the hose. The weakest point on the flow control is the flow controller switch which is very easily broken. If that problem could be corrected hose link products would be close enough to indestructible. Having said that I have not hesitated to purchase a new hose controller.”
“I find this product extremely useful and use it daily. However I have now had to replace it several times. It is not robust enough for the task. No only does the lever fatigue and break but the internals pop out and fail occasionally. I'd love to see this product made more robust so that they last longer.”

The flow control lever is something which the products team are currently trying to strengthen so hopefully it's not long before that's the case.
