“Generally my experience with the swivel connectors has been disappointing as they fail within a short period of time after installation. The failure is a leak between fitting and the swivel mechanism. I have purchased a number of these fittings in the past as spares just in case and have used every one of them only to find the same thing happens within a short period of time. I note that the ones that have failed were the first edition and now the new fittings are different in their make up. I am yet to fit one of the new editions so I cannot comment on them, my comments refer entirely to the first edition. Based on the fact that changes have been made to the fitting, I can only assume the leaking problem has been generic to the fitting which has necessitated the change. Hopefully the changes to the new additon has effectively addressed this problem. I would appreciate however consideration been given to providing me with at least a replacement swivel connector for one of the first editions I recently fitted which is now leaking. Happy to send video of the fitting leaking so the leak and the age of the fitting can be readily assessed. Thankyou in anticipation.”
