“I’m sure it is a good product, but I am having real trouble fixing the major leak that occurs where the hose meets the product. I can see that the old split ring is still there, and the hose is visible at the other end, but it is all too tight to pull apart to check if the hose is split. I suppose I should immerse it in boiling water to pull apart and examine?”
Hi Jennie,Thanks for your review and sorry you are having issues removing your hose connection to check if the hose has a split. Yes, you are correct in saying you need boiling water to be able to remove the hose end connector. I have put a link below to a video showing how to do this and then if you cut a small piece of hose off so it's afresh cut and then use the next video to refit it, this should do the trick.https://youtu.be/JOY7HyWH_C8 - remove hose end connectorhttps://youtu.be/SCCcBhoD6ME - refit hose end connectorIf this does not help, please contact our customer service team for support.Kind Regards,The Hoselink Team

“On 26/01/2023 I sent advice regarding receipt of the goods on Invoice HL1711940, and also asked for information regarding the 9.0mm thick rubber washer in the Connector #2320, and whether it is a serviced part, but my email was disregarded. Bit disappointing. Brett Cutler (Regular Hoselink customer since February 2016)”
