“I've had my Hoselink reel for around a month now and am very happy with the way it does not leak at all at the handle/spray-gun. I'm in an electric wheelchair and my old hose fitting/spray-gun used to leak and I'd end up with a wet lap and jeans, and the electric system in my chair was always at risk, so I'm really enjoying watering my garden again. “I needed a 30m hose for my long back yard, and had seen the advertisements for Hoselink but was yet to be convinced. Following some thorough research, I came to the conclusion that the Hoselink reel was best for me - a little more expensive than other hoses available from the warehouse hardware stores, but delivered as a complete package with fittings attached and backed by a decent warranty. I researched Choice and found average product reviews of an older 20m model but the biggest concerns seemed to be around the lack of handle. All models now have a handle by the look of it, so I suspect any updated Choice reviews will be much more positive. The purchase and delivery process was seamless - convenient delivery to my PO Box was not an issue either (as can often be the case with courier deliveries). Fixing it to the wall was a breeze. After two months of use I am very happy with all aspects of the product. Pulling 30m of hose to retract it can be a little difficult (especially once it is charged with water) but this is not unexpected, and I would imagine anyone so frail wouldn't be up to the task of maintaining a large garden alone anyway. It is also much easier to carry the spray gun back to the reel and retract the hose from there if need be anyway. The spray head is also solid and has a decent range of settings. It's also great to have the opportunity to support a locally owned and operated business. (Overseas manufacturing is completely understandable to keep the cost of the product competitive, by the way). Thanks Hoselink for a quality product.”
