“Tim, I've used the hose quite a few times since mounting it near the front gate and garden, to replace the (expensive) so-called non-kink hoses and fittings which have caused problems for years. Your unit, mounted on a solid piece of hardwood which is stained, not only for protection but for appearance, looks smart and effective. Placed where it is, it not only swivels to reach either side of our large front garden , but also reached out the gate onto the virge so that the car can be washed without mess near the house. I am impressed by the anchoring feature which, with a slight tug, locks the required length of hose for use. We suffer quite severe frosts here and one of my Winter chores has always been covering the fragile water hoses. Your cover seems to do the trick, leaving only the short connector hose and the standpipe itself to be wrapped. Easy ! No mate, very pleased with my purchase. “Very good product my kids love it and my wife can now water everywhere in the garden without moving hoses and having them scattered about the yard or changing from tap to tap, the only down fall is when my highly enthusiastic kids play with the reel they forget or don't lock the rewind and let it go it travels at pretty quick back to the reel so not sure how long it will last before they break something? Apart from that it's great!”
