“The autowind function works most efficiently with its side-to-side internal feed that spreads the roll across the width as the hose reels in. It is of course important to keep the hose clean of mud and grit for the system to work well. That is easily accomplished by having a rag or small towel kept handily looped through the handle of the reel so that it is available to hold around the hose as it reels in off the ground. The hinged pivot enables the unit to be pushed tidily against the wall when it is not in use, and to point in the direction required when it is in use. And being able to lift the entire unit off the central pivot to take to another location where a spare bracket has been mounted is an added economical feature. Altogether this is a most worthwhile purchase for any garden. It looks neat too!”
