“We've gone from having a quite good quality free standing reel to a wall mounted Hoselink. The difference in ease of use is huge. The Hoselink has a great mechanism that pulls out easily and retracts at a good speed. And because it pivots to the direction where you are pulling from, it's always smooth. Mounting to a brick wall was quick and easy and all the parts are good quality. While it is a bit inconvenient now having a mix of Hoselink connectors and normal ones, we will be switching to all Hoselink over the coming year and buying another reel for the other end of the house. The 30m reel is a bit heavy for a lot of people to move from one mount to another, but you can't blame anyone for that. It's just a big hose. Great product and we will buy again.”

“The hose reel arrived promptly and very well packaged. Construction is solid and there has been no water leaks so far on any of the connections to the tap, spray gun fittings or the reel itself. Installation was straightforward and the wall bracket is robust enough to handle the stresses of normal use (e.g. pulling the hose out). I installed the bracket onto a brick wall and recommend using a socket wrench with a small extension rather than Philips screwdriver to fix the bracket to the wall as the torque needed to drive the large screws into the supplied plugs is considerable. Much easier to do with the socket wrench!. The supplied screws have a hex head as well as Philips screwdriver slot making this option easy to do. The tight fit of the screws into the plugs is a good thing as it ensures the bracket will be firmly anchored! The hose retraction action is smooth and easy to operate. The supplied multifunction spray gun is solid and has a nice firm action. The trigger works nicely and there is no sign of any unwanted leakage in use. The supplied swivel fitting is excellent, and makes using the spray gun very comfortable. Again, smooth action and no leakage evident. I would regard the swivel as an essential item for the spray gun. The hose reel is physically larger than I was expecting however not so large it becomes problematic. It may be a consideration from an aesthetic perspective though. I installed the reel in a pergola/deck environment and it is now a fairly prominent feature next to the deck furniture! That said I think most reels on the market capable of holding 30 metres of hose would be similar in physical size. Overall I am very happy with this hose reel. Build and assembly quality is very good and it has operated flawlessly in the two months that I have had it.”
