“Too hard to tell, only spent five minutes trying to fit just one and realized while my hose reel has a hoselink reel cover on it the plugs are not that useful and they don't slide in too easily anyway. Probably a good idea if you are not using a cover. So I will recommend this product for those that don't have a cover.”
“Fantastic service when I rang to ask if my 5 year old 30m hose reel mounting pin could be reinserted.I mentioned red substance oozing from the screw holes and was told it was caused by wasps!!! Hoselink supplied me with soft plugs free of charge for both my hose reels and fixed my mounting pin that had slipped out.The soft plugs are easy to fit and stop the wasps getting in.. No more staining of my hose reels!Thank you Hoselink. Your service is amazing and the hose reels are wonderful. I am recommending them to my family for their own properties.”
“we were very pleased with your prompt response in regards to our minor problems. I have to apologise in regards to my complained of rusting screws in the hose reel.when I went to clean the screw holes it turned out to be wax of native bees who decided to use the scew holes as nesting premises. “Wow!!! The best invention. I could not believe after installing and purchasing the rectractable hose reels a few years ago, it didn't take long for the wasps to make a nest in the holes. These plugs are just perfect. Please make sure you buy them. Save you plenty of time and effort on wasting money on sprays and water to blast the wasps out!!! Buy the plugs now!!!”
“One of the previous reviewers of this product mentioned that these plugs were slightly too small, and tend to fall out. I can vouch for this as I have found the same problem. The reviewer also mentioned that there is a choice to be made by the purchaser to specify the size, but I cannot find any such requirement on the website. Other than that, a worthwhile product”
“Great, except we didn’t realise there were different size plugs. We thought all plugs fitted all sizes. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, so after noticing the plugs on our front yard Hoselink retractable hose reel were falling out, I enquired with Hoselink who told me that there were different sizes available. So we ordered the larger ones which fitted perfectly and none of them have fallen out since.”
