“Poor product experience.I bought the retractable hose just as lockdown started and therefore was unable to get anyone to help me mount it on the designated brick wall. Months later when It was mounted and I used the hose for the second or third time - despite following the instructions, it no longer retracted - lasting less time than the cheap hardware store variety. Very disappointing. One positive is that the connectors are good, which is one reason that I bought hoselink.”
“This is a good product and it does what it says, but I would not say it is a premium product, which perhaps is what you think when you consider the price attached. First, it's big, but then its a Hi Flow hose at 25 metres, so you would expect that. Mounting is relatively easy, especially if you have the right brick wall to attach to. Hose gun is good, so far and I appreciate the revised on/off design on both the tap and the hose which look less likely to succumb to incidental damage than their previous versions. The hose requires significant force to unspool, but I guess the retracting spring needs to be strong to cope with 25 meters of hose. They suggest turning off the hose and releasing the pressure before retracting, but that's pretty counter intuitive if you are 25 meters away when you have finished watering. The materials seem strong, but as I said, I am not convinced it is premium product and I will see how it delivers in the harshness of a QLD summer season.”
