“A previously purchased unit has been working very well, especially as I have fairly low water pressure. However I just opened up the top cover on that unit to find that the small screws holding various parts together are rusting very badly to the point that they are close to being impossible to remove. This is very disappointing to me as such a small cost item but totally essential one for long-term operation, could surely have been installed in stainless steel for virtually no additional cost. I will now have to replace these with SST if I can source the correct sizes. I worry about other possible rust-prone parts not easily visible are lurking below waiting to fail. This has somewhat knocked my confidence in what otherwise seems to be a top quality hose reel.Regards, Warwick.”
“This is the 3rd Hoselink hose reel I’ve purchased. I’ve bought other brands in the past because they’re slightly cheaper but they fall apart within 2-5 years. I still have my original Hoselink reel which is over 15 years old and still going strong. The last two Hoselink hose reels I purchased have been the Hi-Flow model as I’m on pump feed and the pressure is very low. The Hi-Flo hose makes a big difference in this situation. Lastly, the Hoselink connections are fantastic. I use traditional hose connections at my friends and families houses. The traditional connections slip off and leak. You don’t get that with the Hoselink connections. I don’t know why everyone hasn’t changed over. Don’t waste your time and money buying anything else. Buy Hoselink. You’ll be as happy as me.”
“I’d like to thank Hose Link for replacing new order with brand new one in a timely manner. The replacement hose that arrived not sure if this is a newer product as I found the previous order to be sturdy build and nozzle previously provided was metal as opposed to the new that arrived was plastic but thank you for the replacement. Customer service was very good. The high flow does not provide me the extra pressure I was after not sure at this point if it’s the product or my area. Thank you again for the easy replacement offered.”
“Good but.... Ordered the extension hose for the high flow retractable hose reel and was a little disappointed that the fittings on the extension hose were the old green colour not the new grey colour. Not a real big deal just an observation.”
