I have rainwater tanks with a pump to supply my house. I bought the high flow hose reel with the larger diameter 14mm hose, to get a bit more water pressure .disappointed to find the pressure To be unchanged from the 12 mm general garden hose it replaced. I thought it should have come with a universal joint connection to prevent twisting of the hose. The valve to stop the water flow to allow change of end was a bonus though.Otherwise it works well and eliminates the tangle of hose hose that was there before.

The reel works well and feed out and retraction are excellent.Because our supply come from a header tank in the roof we have low water pressure.Low pressure means we use less tank water but the high flow hose saves time watering.Unfortunately the hose is notkink-free.

Recently purchased the 25 m low pressure hose reel. the unit is solid, the bracket is easy to install and it works a treat, the spray head is sturdy, precise and you can swap between different type of spray with ease without getting some drip on your shoes , I was, however, a bit surprised, given the price of the unit, that the UV protection cover was sold separately... I mean come on guys, this is kind of essential when one wants to keep it for a long time, I was baffled to see I had to pay extra to get it, I did see the item to be sold separately in case there is a need to a spare one, but it didn't even occurred to me for one second that would not be part of the initial package!
