“The hose reel worked very well but eventually a few permanent kinks developed, one of which created a hole/leak. When I contacted Hoselink they said this was very rare, and although the reel was out of warranty they replaced it immediately. This was most appreciated, as it is an expensive unit and they were not obligated to replace it. They also suggested I make sure I release any water pressure after use (which I usually did) and to guide the hose more slowly back n to the reel, to help prevent this happening again. Having said that, the hose material seems to be of a type that can be prone to permanent deformation when kinked. Thanks.”
