“Delivery was quick in current environment, was delivered to the door satisfactorily, but Packaging was a bit light for the item with the corner of the box split almost the length of one corner - given the need to have light packaging to reduce transport cost - but in this instance I think some reinforcing on the corners may be required particularly if other small parts of the order are enclosed in the packages as was the case of this order - although our package of smaller items was still in the box the size of the split down the corner of the box was big enough for them to fall out. The product was well received and put to good use after we assembled it.”
“The hose reel was very easy to assemble and, even though it has a heavy 30m hose onboard, it is very easy to pull over all my garden surfaces. What a joy to use, with no leaks and a very secure connection between the hose and fitting and between the tap and the hose. I also bought two extra tap fittings so that I can quickly connect the hose wherever it is needed. Now when I wash the car, I can turn the tap to full volume without risking a sudden drenching, as often happened with my old click fitting hose. If I move house I can take it with me. “The product is reasonably good, but could benefit from a few design improvements.Firstly, there shoud be a couple of hose clips to secure both the lead hose and main hose ends when wheeling - to prevent the main hose from being pulled back through the feeder on retraction and the lead hose from getting caught in the wheels. Second, the little shelf up top could be better designed to hold items such as sprayer head when wheeling, it needs to be deeper o prevent items from falling off when the unit is tilted for wheeling. Think about helping the end user to prevent damage to the hose end attachments and accessories.In general, it's a good sturdy design that has room to improve.”
