“Amazing, it was almost put together when it arrived. It was so easy to set up and my back loves the ease of pulling out and rewinding the hose. I wish it was on longer legs so I didn’t have to bend over when rewinding.”
“Our first delivery was damaged, presumably in transit, and there was an imperfectly soldered edge. This was sorted swiftly with a replacement box. Thank you.Consequently we installed the original hose, following instructions provided.The concept is great for our needs, and it certainly has the potential of working hugely better than our former reel - extremely hard work to operate, and eventually rusted.However, we are finding the unwinding action not entirely reliable - the hose gets repeatedly jammed against the side of the box, or crossing over itself. We persevere in releasing it by opening the top of the box. This is disappointing, but it is a relative improvement on our previous set-up. If this could be sorted, we would be more than happy. For now I will say recommend, but with the qualified feedback here. Please do not publish any identifying details with this review.Any suggestions for rectifying the above, would be most welcome.”
“I bought the Metal Hose Reel Box to try & save our hoses, due to the extreme heat here (45oc in the shade) the heat & sun destroys our hoses even though they are UV treated hoses. I will not know if the hose box works for a couple of years. Unfortunately we have limited shade due to loosing most of our gum trees during the drought - so the hose box is now in the sun.”
