Fantastic idea

The concept is good, it seems to work. The spikes are a bit flimsy for our Canberra soil - the stress marks that indicated stress and the jaunty angle it attained in the process of trying to get them into the garden makes me think they may not last. A metal spike piece may have been a better design option.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear this! We do take pride in the quality of our products, so this is disappointing to hear.We would recommend to wet the ground to help soften it up to then place spike in, in this case. Please feel free to contact us at hoselink@hoselink.com.au or call 1300 900 617 and one of our friendly customer service team members would love to help if you have any further questions or enquiries about this.Kind regards, The Hoselink Team

The guide set does a great job helping the hose not to crape on corners

I have yet to put them into my garden, but I know they will do exactly what I am hoping for. I was pleasantly surprised that they are so light, and I can't wait to get them in today. Thank you.

I like the concept, but it is not particularly successful in my situation. I basically live on a sand dune by the beach and despite building up the organic content of my gardens, the soil remains friable. The spike needs to be larger and longer in these situations. I am going to drive in some 300mm galvanised pipe, fill them with sand and then drive in the hose guides. Should work and hold them in place when under stress from the hose being pulled around it . No fault of the product, but could offer another option if this presents as a problem for others in similar locations. Alan

These work well. I just wish the stem was metal or something more rigid as I worry the plastic might snap off when I put them in place.

These work really well ,the runner guide the hose smoothly and stops kinks and your hose getting caught on obstacles.
