Just fantastic. In recent dry weather the ground (mainly clay) has split/cracked in various spots in the garden. This root waterer is fab...just push waterer into cracks (a few centimeters) & water till water overflow from cracks. Replace mulch.....watering done! Eventually cracks are closing back to normal. Well done Hoselink.

I bought this when I purchased some new sprinklers. It was spur of the moment, but I have loved everything I have bought from hoselink, so I thought why not? We are in the Wheatbelt of WA which is pretty temperate, but we have some long hot dry spells and a really gravelly soil. A couple of my citrus were not looking the best and I decided to try the deep watering unit on them. Best thing I ever did and the most handy item in my garden. I also use it to refill the chickens and aviary birds water as it slips through the mesh nicely and saves me opening doors and fending off birds. I'm eyeing off the pressure unit and the gutter cleaner now. Hoselink has made my life easier and my garden a more beautiful and easily managed space.

I have a patio with pot plants. I think this device is meant to use in a standing position, for gardens with large mature trees. I intend to take it to a metal worker and shorten it to make it more useful for me.My suggestion is that you offer it in two different lengths.

I have not been able to use it as I do not have an adapter for my Gardena hose. Do you have something available?

Hey Sue, Thanks for getting in touch. We don't but you can purchase a British sprinkler adaptor from a local hardware store. Remove the accessory connector and screw this into the handle and use your regular click on style hose. Kind regards, The Hoselink Team

Hi Colleen, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear your root waterer has become blocked with dirt when using it. We would recommend removing the silver wand from the handle and then running some warm water through the shaft to dislodge anything caught inside. Kind regards, The Hoselink Team
