“It worked well but tonight I noticed a leak where it screws up to the tap. I tightened it up and the female thread screw part separated from the timer. After inspecting, in my opinion there is not enough of a lip to keep the screw thread attached to the timer, it is not a strong enough design.I am disappointed it only lasted 12 months, Rainbird brand lasts much longer.”
“Not good. The timer mechanism seems to stick occasionally. When using manual I can hear the switch clicking but no water. Constant on/off switching seems to get it going. On the timer side of things the same issue. Occasionally it will operate correctly but on others the mechanism seems to stick closed. Most frustrating”

“Just installed it - It was very easy to set up and is quiet when running. My only thought is about having to take it off over winter - Why hasn't anyone built an Automatic timer that can be left on all year round, it's a bit of a bother having to take it off before winter and then put it back after winter.”
“I have a few things from hoselink and over all I'd say the products are pretty good (if not expensive) however I got this tap timer and it has not even lasted 24 hours before it has broken. After initial setup I checked everything twice, went to check on the unit before and after it was supposed to turn on and off & all seemed fine. Then overnight something has happened and the unit has decided to let water through when it is meant to be off and flooded my garden. I've triple checked everything again and sure enough I have a faulty unit.Nothing but an extremely costly piece of junk. Can't wait to see the water bill...Thanks for nothing, Hoselink.”
