“Good quality product and easy to install using a variety of hooks or use the clips attached to each bulb. I had 15m to run so I got the extension and that's allowed a bit of a loop between hooks. Solar panel is easy to fit and locks in a few angled positions. The lights dim the further away they are from the panel, something which isn't that obvious if you're not looking at it but when you have the tail looping back around towards the first bulb you can definitely see the difference.If I could make one suggestion to improve the product it would simply be to have a second connection point on the other side of the panel. This would allow for a bit more flexibility when it comes time to position the panel to ensure the best solar gain and would allow each length of lights to be powered equally. I have no idea if this would impose additional cost or complexity in powering from two outlets but would be a nice feature regardless.”
“They look great and the light provided is enough for an ambient evening (maybe not reading!). Be aware though that there is not enough distance between the first globe and the solar panel if you want to locate the solar panel more than about 30cm from the first globe. You can obtain an extension (just not from Hoselink) if you need a bit more distance.Also, my tip is to make sure you check that each globe is tightly screwed in before you put them up. They appear to come loose a bit in transit and will not glow as brightly. I thought I had some dud globes from the start but Hoselink advised checking they were screwed in tightly and the offending bulbs were found to be a bit loose. Tightening solved the issue. A bit inconvenient once they were up.”
