After about 10-15 minutes I feel a boost of energy similar but different to that of caffeine. After the marathon I decided to try it, expecting something fruity in flavor or perhaps something akin to a yogurt drink. To say the taste surprised me would be a gross understatement. This was the most bitter substance I have ever drunk. I assumed I got a bad one but after reading reviews, it sounds like this is what it is *supposed* to taste like.
