“i love the look and the feel of the jug, it's amazing. however there's a problem with my lid/straw. sometimes when I close the straw the water squirts all over me from where it's facing me. It's happened about three times my clothes have been soaked, luckily it's just water. There's also been some weird noises coming from the lid, like it's hissing at me. I was working from home one day and got so scared that there was an animal in my room. It was just my hydrojug. This is my only complaint, other than that everything is great.”

One thing that may cause that is closing the straw too fast after drinking so the water gets stuck in the straw and come out. Try closing your straw slower and letting the water travel back down in the bottle. Let us know if the issue still persists and send us a video of the leak at service@thehydrojug.com In the video show your straw being up for 2-4 seconds then close the straw and flip the bottle.
