“I have been using this product for years but can no longer get it in pharmacy in northern ireland. I was delighted to find it online. Delivery was very prompt.”
“I was delighted to see Parasol back on the market as always used before and loved it. This one is a different consistency, thicker so feel you use more as the previous oily consistency spread more easily.
It also has a strong smell when putting it on, like nail polish, which really isn't pleasant. It's gone once you put it on but not nice while applying. It works and didn't get burnt but the biggest disappointment was it destroyed any clothes that were light in colour. This never happened with the previous Parasol sun screen. Tshirts and light colour tops all have a brown colour on them which didn't come out in a wash even with stain remover. Very disappointing.”
“Nothing like the old preparation. I agree with other reviewers, this should no longer be called Parasol. It is much more gel like in texture and a lot more is needed to provide the same coverage. It does not dry like the old preparation and remains slightly tacky.Having said all of this I have given 2 stars as I did not burn when using it.”
“Always found this to be a great product. This appears to be a new formulation and is more gelatinous than the previous one.
Not as fluid to apply to the skin but still very effective.”
