“We have tried all colors for this unit and have found that after 4 months of use (right after guarantee ends) we begin to have heavy dusting or streaking on our pages. This has occurred on all the cartridges we have purchased. Like clockwork - 4 months out and the dusting starts - and the cartridges still register as being half full. We have tried running a cleaning page. cleaning the printer etc and it helps for a few pages, but then starts dusting again. I often print 10-30 pages at a time and the first 5 will be ok but then it starts dusting and as it gets closer to the end the edge dusting gets heavier. So in the long run, not saving $ as I am having to purchase more often and before the cartridge is empty.”
“Just replaced the first Q6511x. It kept printing pages with nothing running down the middle of the page. 3 times it happened and 3 times I removed the cartridge and tilted it back and forth before replacing it. It would work for a day or two. Each time I generated a supply report and had over 20% of toner remaining. I got tired of wasting paper so I put the new one in. Turns out that this toner cartridge is such a good value.”
