“These socks work great and are very comfortable. The one thing to keep in mind is they are on the thicker side so they can get hot in the summer. The plus side is they will likely last a long time.”
“I got these from both myself and my daughter who is eight. They are soft and not too hot and not too cold, and we have not gotten any ticks. I would wear them for any reason, they’re super comfortable.”
“Ticks start at the bottom and these socks are the best deterent I've found to feel and be safe outdoors. I've used gaiters, and spray sets of trousers. But these socks are snug fitting, stretch easily over pants cuffs, last well through washings and heavy wear, and so white! Sturdy wear but soft material. I feel very protected from those devils in the grass when I mow! Part of my yard work ensemble, and the easiest ever to add. Sent some for a fathers' day present to my son.”
“We love these socks. If I had to change anything to improve them, it would be to put the shield on the bottom of the foot rather than at the top. And of course we wouldn't argue if the price went down. ;) But seriously, these socks are great! Even my kid who hates how most socks feel likes these.”
“This is a terrible tick year. So at least wear Insect Shield socks. Most ticks are in the grass and weeds. If you tuck your pants into your socks, the odds are that you are protected from ticks. Good luck!”
“This is a bad tick year. After the 3d time I found one crawling on me, I immediately searched for anti-bug clothing and ordered several items from Insect Shield, including 4 pairs of these socks. I sprayed my sneakers and my work pants with their permethrin spray. Now when I head out to work in the garden, I'm fully protected. The socks are comfortable and the cuffs are plenty long enough to tuck my pant legs into them. Full protection!”
“I have worn these 4 times working in deep grass and so far no ticks! They are thinner than expected but it being summer, not a bad thing and they seem to be holding up well.”
