“This one smells GORGEOUS. The pineapple and apple notes are smooth and well mixed with the rest; the base of the cologne gives off the smell of a cologne that is familiar to my nose. Makes me think of tuxedos, expensive shoes, suits or formal wear, but slightly fruity and spicy. Actually, it smells like a fruitier version of Abercrombie & Fitch's Fierce, yes the signature cologne that you'll smell walking by the A&F store in the mall. And in fact Derby Clubhouse Gold may be a clone of Legend or Legend Intense from the house of Montblanc, which themselves smell like Fierce with pineapple overtones. The pineapple and apple in Derby Club House Gold are subtle and overall it's a lot more pleasant than a cologne like Fierce which can be noxious and headache-inducing.I have Armaf Derby Club House Blanche as well but it smells next to nothing like the Gold. I don't quite get Armaf's logic for bunching different fragrances in the same line of bottles. But in any case I have yet to be let down by any purchase of Armaf. I also have Craze, Tres Nuit, Tag Him, Club De La Nuit Intense, Shades Wood. Love them all. And they all project well with few sprays. I'm addicted.Speaking of bottles, the bottle for Derby Clubhouse Gold is beautiful. It really is. I like the Blanche bottle too. Feels solid and good in the hand and makes for a nice visual addition to the bedroom.”
