“This is not a Creed Aventus substitute. It shares some characteristics with Creed. Albeit, Creed is much better and smoother fragrance.The initial application of this cologne left me thinking, "Wow, I just wasted 35 dollars!" However, after the rude and overbearing application, the Club De Nuit cooled down and had a pleasant and masculine smell, which I find is a spicy smokiness reminiscent of Aramis and Devin of the late 70's and early 80's.Three things to consider.1. The application is rough. It is a lemony mess that goes on too strong. 15-20 minutes cool down is needed to enjoy the fragrance.2. After wearing it a few times, it seems to smell better on me after a few times using the cologne.3. It will solicit compliments if it is not over-applied (3 sprays, IMO).”
