DescriptionFor delicious kombu soup stock.Make deliciously authentic, vegetarian dashi soup stock from scratch using Wel-Pac's dried dashi kombu kelp. Made from nothing but dried kombu kelp seaweed, this kombu kelp is naturally full of the L-Glutamates that give Japanese food its rich, meaty, umami flavour. Use to make kombu dashi soup stock and save for other dishes afterwards.Preparation• Heat up a sheet of kombu in a pot of water until just before boiling.
• Remove from heat and add katsuobushi bonito flakes.
• Strain out the kombu and katsuobushi for smooth liquid dashi.

It is ultimately the best.I changed used Evian water, but now, I use Tesco Ashbec water, and it is much richer.
