“I’ve tried both the bars and the shakes, and I have to say I think the bars taste better and are more convenient. They’re also much more expensive. From the flavors included in the variety pack, I liked them all — some more than others, but I don’t have any complaints about any of them. Still, if you want something to grab and eat on the go, or if you’re planning a trip and don’t want to carry much weight, they’re really good. However, if you’re eating at home, I definitely think the shakes are better.
That said, I usually have luchs at around 800 calories, and my winning combo is a shake plus a bar. If you were just having a shake, it would cost you about 3 euros. With a shake plus a bar, it costs you roughly 4.50 euros, so that’s a price increase of about 50%.
In terms of feeling full and hunger later on, I’ve noticed that eating the shakes feels just like having a regular meal. I don’t see much difference in how full I feel after eating compared to the shakes. I’ve tried eating only shakes for several days and didn’t get hungry. I’ve also combined shakes and bars on some days and still didn’t feel hungry (never tried only bars I'n not that wealthy hahaha) . Of course, this might vary from person to person.”
“I got the plenny bars to give them a try with a friend. Some taste good, others are okay, and there's a third cateory that I don't like. Other than the flavour, the flavour is okay, it's very thick. The bars are handy if you need a quick substitute for a meal and you can't even sit down. However, I wouldn't use them to replace a meal regularly, the shakes taste much better. I apreciate the products though. If a V4 is every made, I'll give them another try.”
