“The bar keeps me full just as well as the shakes, and it's great to eat on the go in 5-10 minutes. It's got a good texture and it's slightly chewy in the good way, so it also helps to feel more full. I've had the cherry and salted caramel so far, I liked the cherry but salted caramel is not for me. They both seem to have the same baseline flavour-wise and have the different extra flavor added, which works very well. I'd recommend giving it a go.”
“Ja top! Gebruik ze als ik ben vergeten ontbijt in huis te halen en op wandelvakantie. Voor mij is één reep genoeg als ontbijt, maar net niet genoeg als lunch (al komt dat misschien omdat ik dan vaak actief bezig ben).”
“I like the vanilla and chocolate flavour quite a bit! The Applestrudel flavour is also very nice. I like the apple chunks it has. I tried Choco and coco too. While the smell is amazing, the coconut flavour itself is a bit underwhelming. It tastes very similar to the regular chocolate, but with a coco smell to it. I also liked the Cherry flavour! I noticed the consistency is a bit softer than the other bars, but thats not a problem! I loved the little The Shining reference on the wrapping (Here's Johnny!) Nice sense of humour.
I haven't tried the other flavour yet, but so far, the products have all been very well received!”
“I’ve tried both the bars and the shakes, and I have to say I think the bars taste better and are more convenient. They’re also much more expensive. From the flavors included in the variety pack, I liked them all — some more than others, but I don’t have any complaints about any of them. Still, if you want something to grab and eat on the go, or if you’re planning a trip and don’t want to carry much weight, they’re really good. However, if you’re eating at home, I definitely think the shakes are better.
That said, I usually have luchs at around 800 calories, and my winning combo is a shake plus a bar. If you were just having a shake, it would cost you about 3 euros. With a shake plus a bar, it costs you roughly 4.50 euros, so that’s a price increase of about 50%.
In terms of feeling full and hunger later on, I’ve noticed that eating the shakes feels just like having a regular meal. I don’t see much difference in how full I feel after eating compared to the shakes. I’ve tried eating only shakes for several days and didn’t get hungry. I’ve also combined shakes and bars on some days and still didn’t feel hungry (never tried only bars I'n not that wealthy hahaha) . Of course, this might vary from person to person.”
