Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake promised order dispatch within seven days, but shipped the day after I placed my order, and the package arrived a couple of days after that - all very speedy. (One small niggle: in the UK, delivery is by Yodel which can be inconvenient if no one is available to accept the parcel. The driver will ring and can arrange to re-deliver on another day, but unlike Royal Mail there's not the option to collect it from your local delivery office.) The Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake arrived was packaged very well: quality, easy-to-open *resealable* bags with very pretty if slightly surreal artwork. The free shaker is also of good quality and an ideal size. (Useful tip: 1/3rd of a bag of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake is more or less exactly 1/2 a shaker-full, dry.) Further, you can't argue the value proposition: at €2/meal for something that is ready to eat more or less instantly and can be downed in a minute or two when you need to get out the door or back to work is a total bargain. Sure, you *could* cook for yourself for less, but to get as good a nutritional balance (and so much protein, in particular) for that price is going to be something of a challenge, particularly if you're cooking just for yourself. There is a big 'however', however. What's the overall experience of eating Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake? Not really delightful. The flavours I tried (banana and vanilla) are actually better than expected, but the banana flavoured Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has a slightly weird odour when dry. And then there's the texture: maybe I just don't like shakes, but I found drinking something with a texture somewhere between thick paste and thin gruel to be kind of gross. And though the main flavours are good, there is a definite oatiness to Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake is pretty hard to ignore. And afterwards? Though Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake does seem to be very effective at providing the nutritional sustenance I need, keeping me going whether I be involved in physical or mental exertion, it in no way left me feeling full or satisfied. It fulfills the need for food, without giving any of the satisfaction of having eaten - and I suspect that if you're prone to over-eating you may find yourself consuming Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake in addition to, rather than as an alternative to your regular meals. So, overall, I have to say that this is the perfect product for those situations when you're in a hurry or just can't be bothered to cook: it's easy, cheap and nutritious. But if anything I think it's likely to encourage me to cook proper meals for myself *more* often than I currently do, because the choice has now become "well, I can get off my ass and cook, or I can drink that... stuff" - and the former suddenly looks pretty appealing by comparison.

It's a really great product for a quick meal (and it taste better than i'd initially thought). Also quite affordable if you think about price/eal.

My commute is an hour. To avoid traffic jams I leave early, breakfast is made the night before in a minute and stored in the fridge. Lunch is in a seperate box. After breakfast I put the powder and water in the cup, shake it and store it in the company fridge. Then within 5 minutes my lunch is eaten and the rest of the break can be spend outside. It saves a lot of time and shopping for me! I am lactose intolerant so I need lactase tablets to cope, still waiting for the vegan version to solve that little issue. Very happy with the product as it is now.

Ordered the Chocolate & Vanilla. Both tasty although I prefer the chocolate. Not too gritty & not overpowering flavours. Really happy with it so far! I'm using it either as a lunch or a dinner replacement depending on my schedule. Good stuff.

I have always had problems with eating especially in the mornings. I trained myself into oatmeal porridge but sometimes the morning is too short even for "three and half minutes in microwave”-kind of porridge. In these cases Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake is a saviour. Just few shakes and I am ready to go and I can enjoy my fairly tasty breakfast shake whilst standing in motorway queues. I have found out that just mix-shake-and-go isn’t the way to go. Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake needs at least one hour in the fridge before consuming. Only then the texture is smooth and I think that after this the “gas formation” is not as high as it would be if you consume it right away. And us gents .. we don’t like to pass the gas too often in office environment. :D Anyways … taste is good. :) I must admit that sometimes I wonder if the content is exactly what is stated on the package (carbs, vitamins etc.) as I have never seen real tests of the product by a third party. But for now I must say that I did the first ten days with only this and all that I was missing was chewing (and naturally the periodic hunger was there … as 2100 kcal might not be enough for me.) So overall .. I am happy with the product and will be ordering more as it really works for me. :)
